Who is Hidetoshi Tojo?
Hidetoshi Tojo is a researcher, lecturer and writer on Shinto shrines and Japanese culture. He is the Representative Director of the International Culture Promotion Association (ICPA), and the founder of Jinja-jin, one of Japan's largest web portals about Shinto shrines.
He is also the direct great-grandson of Hideki Tojo, the 40th Prime Minister of Japan. In the Tojo main family line, the first son inherits the character "英" (Hide):

What he does
- Monthly study meetings — held every month in Tokyo, Osaka, Aichi and online, on Japanese history, Shinto and culture (conducted in Japanese).
- Lectures and writing — universities, companies and public institutions in Japan and abroad. He has published books on Shinto and Japanese identity.
- Peace activities — he takes part in dialogue between the descendants of those who stood on opposite sides of the war, including the HOPE80 initiative.
